Check out the website that Isaac and I just made for our conference, “Rethinking the University: Labor, Knowledge, Value” - April 11-13th, 2008 at the U of Minnesota. With sixteen panels and roundtables, including over sixty participants from all over the country (and a few from Canada and one from India), this conference is shaping up to have some powerful discussions about the corporatization of higher education, the casualization of academic labor, campus labor organizing, radical pedagogy, and other strategies of resistance.
