Jecca and I are going to India in July for six weeks. This article about the extreme de facto segregation there sounds like an exaggerated version of the apartheid situation in America - vicious circles of economic and educational inequality, but with even less state-run social services. Similarly to here, class struggle is muted by the distracting co-optations of representative democracy.
