Mangy beach dogs - three of these rascals staked out Jecca and I, waiting for a handout. The two in this photo (and one more hidden behind my backpack) dug holes in the sand, kicking sand on us and slinking ever closer, creating a facade of pitifulness belied by their shifty bloodshot eyes. The Norwegian and Israeli tourists fell for it and they probably got fleas. (Background: dudes playing a pick-up game of beach soccer.)
