This is the building of the Auroville Language Lab where Jecca and I are taking classes in Tamil.  We just started today - it’s quite cheap (750 rupees for a month) and we’re impressed by the quality of instruction and language software resources.  Speaking Tamil seems possible, but reading and writing it will be tough because the script is very complex with its 247 letters (see a chart of the alphabet here). Jecca’s studying hard so that she can dive into the archives soon.
