The Emaciated Gophers, including myself, organized a protest today against exorbitantly high student fees that put us far below a living wage. I’m in this video for a second when we’re crossing the bridge. We had some great chants, such as “1, 2, 3, 4. What are we paying fees for? 5, 6, 7, 8. Bruininks, why you gotta hate?” (Bruininks is our U president - he makes $700k/year, the 7th highest paid U president in the country). The struggle for grad worker rights continues!
